Holy Name of Mary
is a Louisiana State approved Roman Catholic school which offers a strong
standard-based curriculum. Students are provided with an environment
that stresses Christian values and challenges them to avail themselves
of the opportunities to develop a firm foundation in lifetime skills.
In addition, we also offer:
1. A Pre-Kindergarten
program.
2. A Middle School
Program for grades 6, 7, & 8 which addresses the needs of these
pre-adolescent students. This program includes community service activities,
interdisciplinary teaching, and extra curricular activities.
3. A computer lab
which students attend weekly.
4. A Science/Art
lab which students attend weekly.
5. A Spanish program
for 2nd through 8th grade.
6. Chapter 1 Remedial
Reading Mobile Unit to help qualifying students.
7. Use of Scott
Foresman’s state approved Reading program in grades K - 5.
8. The use of assertive
discipline which stresses positive affirmation for appropriate behavior.
9. Day Care Services
provided in the morning from 7:00 - 7:45 and in the afternoon from 3:00
- 5:30. The cost of these services is available through the office.
10. Weekly school
